ABOUT RSI

OUR STORY

DarkBackground.jpg

In the early 1920’s Guido Rebechini and Marchello Rebechini emigrated from the Pietra Santa area of Italy to the USA. Settling in Chicago, they went to work for DaPrato Statuary Company. Much of their work was doing terracotta ornamentation on a new type of building….Skyscrapers! Guido and Marchello made decorative terracotta pieces for many 1920’s era buildings including John Sullivans structures. Much of this can still be seen in the Chicago area today.
